cannelloni.net is a static website — a collection of pages about one pasta dish, with no moving parts behind it. The honest summary of this policy: we collect almost nothing, because there is almost nothing to collect. The details, in plain language:
What this site does not have
- No accounts, logins or profiles. There is nothing to sign up for.
- No comment forms or newsletters. The only way to send us data is to email us deliberately.
- No analytics scripts, tracking pixels or advertising networks. The pages load one stylesheet and one small script from this domain and request nothing from anyone else — you can verify this in your browser’s network inspector.
- No cookies set by us. cannelloni.net itself stores nothing in your browser.
What does exist
- Standard server logs. Like effectively every website, the server that hosts these pages records requests — IP address, page requested, timestamp, browser user-agent — in routine logs used for security and capacity. These are kept per our hosting provider’s standard retention and are not used to identify or profile readers.
- Email you send us. If you write to [email protected], we have your address and whatever you wrote. It’s used to reply to you and, if you sent a correction or recipe, to act on it. It is never sold, shared or added to any list.
- Amazon’s own cookies. Buying-guide links go to Amazon with our affiliate tag (explained in the affiliate disclosure). When you click one, Amazon sets cookies in your browser under Amazon’s own privacy notice — that’s how it attributes purchases. This happens on Amazon’s site, under Amazon’s policies, and is entirely between you and Amazon; we receive aggregate commission reports, never your identity or purchase history.
Your choices
Since we hold no data about you beyond any email you’ve sent, the available requests are simple: ask us to delete your correspondence and we will. Browse with affiliate-link blocking or cookie controls if you prefer — every product link works as a plain Amazon link regardless.
